Web Designs of 2020

girl looking at mac

Now that we are a couple of months into this new decade, we can finally see what trends are starting to form in the world of web design. The web is always changing, along with the new modern design trends that people want to see.
Companies are rebranding and completely redesigning their websites to fit in with the new societal trends that we are seeing in 2020. So, what are some of these trends that we are seeing?

Breaking Down The Trends

Modern and simple designs are definitely in right now, but there are some additional trends that we are starting to see in the web design world!

Dark Mode

One of them is dark mode, which is basically just when the background of the website is black or a darker color rather than a bright white. This design is not only modern but also easy on the eyes and overall just a nice change of scenery. It instantly catches people’s attention because it is not the average white background that we are used to seeing when we click on a website.

Layers

Layering different elements on a website is also really in right now. It gives your website a form of individuality and depth. It also provides a very clean and modern look. This creates a shadow effect that gives your webpage a 3D look to it as if it was popping off the screen.

Graphics

Adding graphics to the photos that are already existing on your webpage is really appealing to the eye, always making your website fun and truly bringing it to life. It gives the page life and personality; you can let your creativity run wild with this design. This is very appealing to the younger generation, so if that’s your target market, then this trend is for you.

The “Glow”

As mentioned above, dark mode is popular…which means that the “glow” is also a trend of 2020! Using a glowing effect is unique and different. It also works great with dark mode because it makes the content pop! By pairing glow with soft colors appealing to the eye, it can create a really effective design.

Interaction

Finally, we have interaction. This gives your site a fun look and style that is attractive to viewers. People tend to think that this trend doesn’t necessarily look professional, but it can when it is done right!
There are many ways to use this trend within a website that will please everyone. It also helps keep the attention of the viewer because when they scroll through, they get action on the page instead of just words.

In Conclusion

These trends are just a few of the many that we are starting to see in this new decade. With web design constantly changing and growing, we will start to see some exciting new ideas pop up over the next couple of months. If your design needs an upgrade to keep up with these trends that we are starting to see, then contact a specialist and see what they can do to get in with the new modern designs of society.

E-A-T: The SEO Trend You Need to Know

google seo

Google E-A-T: no, it’s not what’s for dinner!
With all the acronyms today, it can be a little hard keeping them straight! But when it comes to the future of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), E-A-T is one you’ll want to know.

What is E-A-T?

E-A-T is an acronym used by Google in it’s Quality Rater Guidelines (QRG) that is a way to “grade” your site and web presence. Considered a high priority, as it is mentioned 135 times in the 167 pages of the current draft of Google’s QRG, this is a way to test the quality of your content. By using E-A-T, the team of reviewers is ranking your site based off of the overall Expertise, Authority, and Trustworthiness you exhibit through your content.

Expertise

To display your expertise, you will want the author of the content (or owner of the page, if you are not creating the content yourself) to have the appropriate education, qualifications, and/or life experience to support your claim to be an expert on your subject/industry.

Authority

To establish your authority, you and/or the author will need to be recognized as an expert in your field not only by your audience but also by your professional peers. Reviews, testimonials, and quality backlinking can prove vital to establishing your authority.

Trustworthiness

To show your trustworthiness, you need to build credibility with your audience by the accuracy of your content, your transparency, and your reputation. Listing awards your business has won, recognizable brands that you have worked with, and staff introductions including headshots and qualifications all help to boost the trust of your audience.

The Future of SEO

While the Google algorithm itself may not be able to judge the quality of your content using E-A-T, there is a clear indication that E-A-T is the direction that we are looking at in the future. By knowing this, you can get ahead of the game and start optimizing the quality of your content now, so that when Google does figure out how to include it in the algorithm, you will maintain your rankings. As an added benefit, your client base will not only be grateful for your attention to detail, it could also grow!

Designing A Website: Why DIY Isn’t The Best Option

coding web design

If you’re wondering if your business needs a website, the answer is a resounding YES. It’s a digital world, and we’re all just living in it!
With all the online web builders available today, you’re probably thinking that you could take on this project on your own–and maybe you could!– but self-design isn’t the best option for everyone. Here are a few perks you may not have considered that come when you choose to work with a professional on your website development.

The Value of Your Time

Making a great website takes a bit of a time commitment. There is a lot of work that goes into building and maintaining a website. By choosing a web design professional, you are free to turn that attention onto other projects; whether it’s focusing on other areas of launching your business, or just using that time for yourself and your family, not spending that time glued to a computer screen can significantly benefit your day to day life.
Not only do you save yourself the barebones amount of time that it takes to construct your site; you also save yourself the added headaches that come from heavy research and trying to figure out why things aren’t working the way you want them to. The worst feeling in the world comes when you think you have something perfect, only to discover that some feature of your site isn’t functional!

Finished Site

Online website builders are great, but they do fall short in a few areas when it comes to your finished site. When you work with a web design professional, your site is essentially completely customizable: whatever you want, you get. With most website building applications, that is not the case; they tend to gravitate toward WYSIWYG: or, What You See Is What You Get. They have set templates, and not a whole lot of full body customization options.
Another perk of using a web development professional comes in the overall finish and functionality of your site. When working with a pro, you can trust that your site will not only look amazing but that it can also withstand whatever you may need of it: whether it be high volumes of traffic (something you love to see!) or a considerable amount of content, you don’t need to worry about running into limitations.

Face to Face Connection

When you choose a local company to build your website, you have the added benefit of face to face and hands-on partnership when developing your website. You can build that relationship of trust in person, getting to know your developer, while allowing your developer to really get to know your wants and needs for what you need your website to do for you. This supports full customization of your site and makes it easier to communicate should there be things you want to be adjusted; something that those web builders definitely don’t allow for!

Potential for Future Growth

When you choose a local company for your website design and development, there could be even more perks! If your chosen company is a marketing company, there also is the added benefit of having insight into SEO for your site to drive traffic, and even opens up the door for a future partnership for your advertising needs rather than just basic website construction. Things like ongoing blogs and continual site optimization can help to keep your company ahead of your competitors.

Those Times Things Go Wrong

It happens all the time: some technological glitch happens, a website goes down. What do you do? When you’ve used a website builder, you may be out of luck, but when you work with a professional website developer, you can contact your web team and they can work from the back end to figure out what went wrong, why, and help to ensure the same error doesn’t happen again. This takes the pressure off of you, and encourages your customer base to place their trust in you: no one likes when their chosen source is offline in this mobile world!

When examining the pros and cons, it’s pretty clear that having a professional website team behind you is the best choice when investing in a website. If you’re in the Boise area and looking for a team for your website or digital marketing needs, contact the team at Social Eyes Marketing today!

4 of the Most Important Recent Google Algorithm Updates

google updates SEO scaled

As an SEO marketing company, we are under the control of the search engine god, Google. There have been many updates over the years. Some have affected SEO more than others and oh boy, have we noticed! Here, we will be analyzing some of the most recent Google updates and their impact on search results.

January 2020 – Featured Snippet Update

The featured snippet update by Google restricts URLs that are shown in the featured snippet from being shown again in the top 10 organic results. Hence, anything in position “0” will not show up again below that. Position 0 is placed above all other organic positions and is a very valuable place for your website to rank for.

January 2020 – Broad Core Update

It is only a few times a year that Google rolls out broad core algorithm updates. So the first one in 2020 is quite a significant update to keep an eye on. Broad core algorithm updates bring about larger fluctuations in SERPs as opposed to regular core updates. Google suggests that the best way to recover from a broad core algorithm update is to continue to create and build high-quality content. Broad core updates are always focused on providing greater search results for users. Sometimes this can significantly rock the boat for webmasters who aren’t up to date with all the latest web design trends and algorithm changes.

October 2019 – BERT Update

Perhaps one of the largest updates that spread like wildfire among the SEO community was BERT. BERT stands for Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers. According to Google, the new BERT update will impact 10% of search results across all languages. This is quite a significant amount considering that Google processes 40,000 search queries every second. Because of its significance, it will be added to the notorious list of algorithm updates by Google like Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird, and RankBrain. As mentioned before, Google is constantly updating to provide better search results for users. BERT will be analyzing words in relation to one another in a sentence as opposed to one word at a time. Thus, Google is making strides to understand the context of a search. The update affects 1 out of 10 organic search results and brings greater significance to voice search.

June 2019 – Diversity Update

As you may have noticed, differing pages of the same website rank in the top 10 organic search results. Similar to the snippet update in January 2020, the June 2019 Diversity Update provides more diverse search results aimed to combat this. Thus, you usually won’t see more than 2 results of the same website in the top results unless it’s especially relevant for a particular search. Google stated that “Site diversity will generally treat sub-domains as part of a root domain. IE: listings from sub-domains and the root domain will all be considered from the same single site. However, sub-domains are treated as separate sites for diversity purposes when deemed relevant to do so.”

SEO Experts

All this talk about SEO and Google can become overwhelming. Luckily, there are marketing agencies that specialize in this exact area. Social Eyes Marketing is a local Boise marketing agency that offers SEO services. We also offer much more, but we won’t go into depth. If you find that your business is not ranking well on search results, give us a call or fill out one of our forms. It’s important for your business to be noticed; just think about how many times you use Google to find a product or service!

A Blog’s Purpose: Why Your Website Needs One

website blog wordpress

Have you ever gone to a website and seen a “news” or “blogs” section and wondered why they have one in the first place? Well, conveying the purpose of that section can be a little tricky, so I’m here to tell you why it’s necessary and how it’s actually helping their business.

1. Blogs Bring More Website Traffic

You’ve probably heard of the fancy phrase “search engine optimization” or SEO. Blogs are an important piece of the greater SEO puzzle. This is because they aim to provide useful up-to-date information with keywords weaved in. Google likes this because it is constantly scouring the internet for the most relevant and fresh content out there.

When your website has a blog with content posted every month, it acts as a source of fresh subject matter for Google. Therefore, Google is more inclined to put your company’s website in front of searchers. The more people your website is in front of, the more traffic it will get.

The added use of keywords within the blog makes it so people who ask Google questions like “Why does my website need videos?”, receive the answer through the blog that is on your business’s website. If they find the answer through your company’s website then the more likely you are to rank higher in Google search results.

If you don’t think Google is that smart, well I’m sorry to tell you that it sure is. Google wants only the best of the best content for searchers. If your company can provide that, then you will see a huge ROI.

2. Blogs Make You an Expert Resource

Your website needs to have a blog because it provides information about the industry you’re in. People search for you to find out more about what you can offer. When they find that you have loads of information to provide for them, you build trust. You want users to know that you are an expert at what you do or sell. A perfect way of doing this is by sharing your knowledge through blog content.

A person who knows what they’re talking about is credible and reliable. Consumers will use blog information to determine if your business is worth investing their time and money in. All you have to do is explain to them why you’re worth it. Do this by giving consumers the right amount of information without giving away all your secrets.

3. Blogs Create More Value & More Shares

A blog provides more value to your website. It’s easy to want to spam LinkedIn or other social media networks with your daily deals and sales, but what about other information? A blog is social media share-friendly and does not come off as too promotional. Plus, if a reader enjoys what they’ve learned, they will share it with their network and their network may share it too.

4. Blogs Make Your Website Healthy

Your website’s design and functionality is a huge factor in overall website health. But how do blogs help? Well, one of the main points of a blog post is to engage users. The longer users are engaged, the more likely they are to explore other areas of your business’s website. After a while they may become intrigued by the information you provide and will want to visit more often.

If people are exploring your website, they will find out more information about your company and the services it provides. The longer they stay and explore, the lower your bounce rate, and the higher the possibility of them converting. The more your website is “healthy” the more Google rewards you by placing your website at the top of search results.

5. Blogs Focus on Consumers

Blog content is solely focused on targeting your company’s audience. For instance, our SEO package at Social Eyes Marketing involves creating content specific to your business and its consumers. You don’t want to brag about your business in all of your posts. Instead, offer to be the solution to their problems. A great example is if someone were to ask, “What does an Internet marketing company do?” and then you provide the answer…But you also subtly promote your company within the content as well.

A blog section aims to provide 4 main things for Consumers:

  1. Entertainment
  2. Information
  3. Answers
  4. A Sense of Community

Once you master these, your blog will become an integral part of turning readers into loyal customers.

Boise SEO Services

Hopefully, now you understand the gist of why you are seeing a “news” or “blogs” section on company websites.

Blogs on your website are like we’ve said, an integral part of SEO. By providing your readers with useful content, they are more likely to trust your business and stay on your website. Google will also trust you too. At Social Eyes Marketing we provide blog content as part of our SEO services so that your company’s website lands on page 1 of Google search results. By trusting an internet marketing company in Boise, your company is receiving the proper care and attention that larger firms fail to provide. So let’s chat!

How PPC and SEO Work Together

marketing thumbs up

Quick Definition of SEO and PPC

What is SEO? What Is PPC? Well, SEO is known as search engine optimization which is a method to increase your company’s consumer traffic on the internet through the use of keywords and phrases on your website. Proper SEO allows your company to rank high on Google search results so you show up as one of the top-ranked web pages when someone is searching for something. PPC is known as pay per click, which is when the advertiser pays the publisher a certain amount based on the number of people who view the ad and click on it to find out more information. PPC places your website at the top of Google Search results.

How They Work Together

SEO and PPC work together to get the job done. Without SEO, PPC would not be effective, and vice versa. Search engine optimization leads to more traffic because it’s made to target specific phrases and keywords. This way, potential clients are lead to click on the organic search result that is hopefully your website. The organic search result is the non-paid result. A PPC ad will have the “Ad” label next to it.
SEO takes time. For a smaller business trying to break into a highly competitive field, it can take several months before your company’s website starts to rank well on its own. This is where PPC comes in.
PPC is the quickest way to increase visibility and put yourself right at the top of Google search results. You just have to pay for it. PPC is a great way to jumpstart your car, while SEO is the accelerator. If you use the right targeted keywords in both your PPC ads and SEO efforts, then you are set to succeed.
Mind you, PPC does not have to be a long term game if you don’t want it to be. Once you’ve established enough trust with Google to rank well organically, you can shut them off. Your organic traffic value would have increased enough to where you do not need to be paying as much as you do for PPC ads. Reckon, this isn’t always a good idea if you are wanting to target new or small niche keywords and don’t have to pay an arm and a leg.
PPC’s goal is to get you more clicks so more people are visiting your website. The more clicks, the more opportunities for consumers to purchase your product or service. Thus, it will create more revenue for your company and the ROI will be worth it.
These two things work together to increase revenue and bring more traffic to your business.

If It’s Not Done Correctly

As helpful to one another as SEO and PPC are if they are not done in an effective way then you won’t see an increase in revenue. Your website also won’t show up in search results. Here at Social Eyes Marketing, we have experts that specialize in SEO and PPC. Using the right target keywords and phrases unique to your company can make or break how effective SEO and PPC works for you. With our team of experts, we can create a presence that is unique to your company and is directed towards the right audience.

SEO Pros and Cons

Search engine optimization has its pros and its cons just like everything else. Some of the pros for SEO is that it creates a higher rank for companies on search engines so you get more viewers overall. SEO is overall the way to gain new clients and grow your business organically.
The cons of SEO are that it takes time to see results so you have to be patient but the results will come. It will take awhile for you to see the results for your business which can be why people do not want to keep investing time and energy in it. But without SEO you will not have the opportunity to grow. SEO may take time to see results but in the end, you will have positive results.

PPC Pros and Cons

Pay per click also has its pros and cons but like SEO they can have a positive result with time. The pros are that is can give you faster results than SEO and it allows you to track your ads so you can personally see the results. PPC can have local exposure as well as global exposure so your business can gain views from a larger variety of possible clients.
The cons of PPC are simple and similar to other cons of marketing. First of all it is not free, therefore it is an investment. They can also be complicated and a pain to set up, but with our help at Social Eyes Marketing, we’ll make sure your company is making the most of it.

12 Months of Web Design Trends

computer screen showcasing code

Design that has a search bar with the words Web Design in it and a title of TRENDING: Loading... on the bottom of the picture.
As the year of 2019 comes to an end we look back at all the web design features that were either brought to life or brought back from years ago. Over the 12 months, the world of the web has been booming with new design features and old but improved features. Let’s recap on the creativity that 2019 brought us.

Retro Is BACK

The vibrant retro colors are back and better than before when it comes to web design. Websites are more appealing to viewers when the colors are anything other than boring. Colors that represent the 1980s are back in style. Using neon colors is just one way you can make your profile even more appealing to the eye. But, an overuse of bright colors can be overwhelming so knowing the balance is what we do best here at Social Eyes. Our designers know how to create a personalized color scheme that best represents your company.

Interaction Is Key

Having an interactive home screen is something that makes your companies profile unique and different from others on the web. It creates a form of fun and shows that your company is modernized in the world today. There are multiple different ways to create an interactive website and the designers here at Social Eyes Marketing have creativity running through their veins. Here are a few examples of our work that we have featured on our website.

The Power of the Overlap

Using overlapping words and images is a great way to draw attention to one specific thing. Overlapping the words that are on the website can bring more dimension and attention to a title or even a slogan that you want your viewers to remember. Using the overlapping technique makes it easier for viewers to remember your company and website because it sticks out more. Yet, if this is not done well it can confuse the viewer and become more of a distraction and less of an attraction.

Add Some Curve

Straight lines are a thing of the past. In the world of web design it is all about the curve appeal. The use of circles and other shapes that differ from a basic design can give a web design a whole new appeal. People want something different and unique that stands out to them. Our designers create a fluid design that goes beyond the basic shapes.

A Good Kind of Glitch

Glitch art is the name and movement is the game. Glitch art creates a form of movement on a web page that really keeps the attention of the viewer. Basically it is similar to a video or graphic that plays over and over on the homepage. It immediately keeps the attention of the viewer. It also makes the website interactive for the viewer so they are never bored with your profile.
See you in 2020 to recap the start of the new decade.

The Importance of Videos on Your Website

Video production
Text and video infographic1

72% of people would rather use video to learn about a product or service. Let’s be honest, people aren’t wanting to read blocks of text. People want videos! Yes your website shouldn’t be just a bunch of videos, that would be complete overkill, but it should have at least one. The great thing about videos is that they set the overall tone for your business in a clear and concise way. At Social Eyes we offer our clients the option for photo and video, because we believe that it is imperative to connect with your audience in the best way possible.

All the visual aids within videos allow for our memory to store the information in our long term memory center rather than short term. This is especially useful if you want your site visitors to remember your business after they’ve left it. If you aren’t convinced just yet, let’s tell you why video matters.

Video Production For Your Website

More time infographic1

The average user spends 88% more time on a website with video. The goal of your website is to not only act as an information hub, it should also engage users. Ever heard of bounce rate? That’s the percentage of people who go to your website and then leave after viewing only one page. High bounce rate is not a good thing. You want people to explore their options and learn about what your business has to offer. Great video production acts as a hook for customers. If your video leaves a good impression, then they are more likely to share that information with others.

The Future Of Video

Video Infographic Visual

Get ready for a digital video boom. The number of U.S. digital video viewers is projected to increase from 228.8 million in to 248.9 million in 2022. That’s about 20 million more people watching and learning from video content. With an increase in viewers, this also means an increase in potential customers. Well produced video content gives you an extra marketing edge that written text does not. Get ahead of the game so you can be part of the digital viewer growth before your competitors push you out.

Internet Traffic infographic1

Video will account for 80% of global internet traffic in 2019, so you can imagine how much more growth is coming in 2020. With viewers increasing, website traffic increases. Don’t be fooled, traffic isn’t the 5 o’clock annoyance of bumper to bumper cars. It’s the amount of visitors to a website, which for you, should be high. Lots of traffic is an effective way to measure how attractive your website is to an audience. Nowadays people opt for the most convenient option. A quick press of the play button is all they need to do if you have a video, how convenient is that?

The Science Behind It All

Brain Infographic Visual

Haven’t you ever wondered why you can’t remember names, but you can remember faces? Humans are visual creatures, we have a whole cortex dedicated to processing visual information more than our other senses. This is deeply rooted in early evolution, where speech and written words were not around. Our sight provides us with a reliable way to recall information we’ve seen in the past. It also enables us to recognize emotions and feelings. If you’re familiar with muting your social media feed videos, then you know that all the information you need to understand what’s going on is accessible through watching, not hearing.

How Do I Get Video Content?

Luckily for you, Social Eyes Digital Marketing does video production in Boise. We can also help you put the video onto your website and social media. We want you to have the best web design for your business. Having a video added will be the cherry on top of an already amazing web design!

Reap What You Sow: Why Good SEO Is Like Gardening

SEO Gardening Computer

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the key to business success in the digital age – but we don’t need to tell you that. Any marketer knows that getting your site to the top of results pages is a tricky task and yet one that always delivers. So, what is the secret to mastering these three little letters? And how on earth is it like gardening?

Recommended reading: Why Your Small Local Business Needs A Website

Mary, Mary, quite contrary… how good is your SEO?

You should always begin with keywords, the simplest ingredient of SEO when considering your content. Think of them as the seeds to grow your garden of success. Instead of picking the right plants for the right soil, you’re choosing the right words and phrases for the right audience. Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Who is your audience?
  • What information do they want?
  • How do they search for it?
  • In what format do they want it?

Knowing the answers to these questions will allow you to connect with the people who are searching for your solutions, and it all starts with keyword research. This process, whilst intensive, is crucial for your SEO success.

Thankfully, there are plenty of online keyword research tools you can use to streamline your keyword research.

One of the most popular SEO research sites, Moz.com, boasts a free research tool with over 500 million keywords. This helps you discover the average search volume for certain words and phrases or alternative, less competitive keywords.

Seasons and competitors

You would never plant sunflower seeds in the middle of winter, would you? They just wouldn’t thrive at that time of year. In the same way, you need to adapt your SEO as the seasons change.

Your audience will be searching for different things in different months, and your keywords need to reflect this. For example, if you’re offering a limited-time deal or product for the festive season, it’s useful to know that Christmas-related Google searches spike in volume from October through to December.

A little preparation goes a long way: you can prepare yuletide content months in advance, then give it a big push at the right time.
Sunflowers are not only a summer plant, but they also shouldn’t be grown in close proximity to one another as they won’t reach their full potential. Similarly, if your webpage is overcrowded by your competitors on a results page, you won’t achieve the highest volume of traffic.

There are two different strategies to combat this: target the keywords which are used less and therefore have less competition, or deliberately use the same words that have been successful for your competitors and make your content better. The former takes advantage of their missed opportunities, whilst the latter is a more aggressive approach.

Creepy crawlers

Crawlers may sound like something you don’t want in a garden, but when it comes to SEO you definitely do. They are bots used by search engines that scour the internet, scanning billions of webpages for links, keywords, website freshness and more.

Once the information has been collected, it is indexed, which makes it searchable for users. Google’s search index contains hundreds of billions of web pages and is well over 100,000,000 gigabytes in size.

Optimizing your environment

A crawler-friendly website isn’t just about good, keyword-heavy content. It also needs to be formatted correctly. This includes:

In your garden, consider this providing your plants with the right environment to flourish; canes for the sunflowers to cling to and prevent them from wilting, for example. Correctly formatted web pages hosted by a trustworthy provider allow crawlers to easily index your site.

Pruning the dead leaves

Just as forgetting to deadhead your flowers will detract from the living blooms, allowing content on your webpage to grow outdated is an SEO no-no.

If your ‘latest news’ is from two months ago, or the ‘monthly special’ expired weeks ago, you will be giving your audience a bad impression and they are not likely to stick around.

Showing that your website is on top of its content and can communicate well will earn you repeat visits.

SEO expert Cyrus Shepard recommends that when you update a link on your website, you should also update the text around it. This way, search engine crawlers will detect bigger changes to your page, deeming it to be fresh.

Bring in the backup

If all else fails, you can always enlist professional help. Imagine you’d given your garden all the nurture you could, yet it still wasn’t yielding the results you wanted. You have some spare capital, so you decide to invest it by employing a gardener.

SEO agencies are the landscapers of the digital marketing world. They are experts in their field and can offer you audits, content and more to direct traffic to your site. Social Eyes Marketing, for instance, offers expert SEO knowledge that will help you hone your website to Google’s exacting standards.

This option is perfect if you’re serious about SEO as a marketing channel. While it’s not a necessity, getting in an expert gardener to sort your website’s garden out is well worth it for the return on your investment.

Reaping the rewards

So, how is good SEO like gardening? It’s really quite simple: you reap what you sow. Love your garden – sorry, website – and it will love you back.

Plant the correct seeds (keywords), at the right time and in the right place. Make it crawler-friendly by perfecting your environment. Prune away what is old and unnecessary, and don’t be afraid to bring in the professionals if you need to.

Nurture your SEO and your traffic will flourish. By using the right tools and expertise, you’ll be left with a bountiful result.

Why Your Small Local Business Needs a Website

Mobile Google Marketing

88% of consumers who search for a local business on their smartphones will call or go to that business within 24 hours.

Your business must have a website that is well optimized, eye-catching, and intuitive for consumers. Let’s be honest, most people don’t want to have to go on a 3rd party website to find out about your service hours or menu items. It’s imperative that you find a web design company that will know how to get your companies website up and running. Especially when having that website put on Google Maps.

Before you call a million different places asking for quotes, it is important that you have a basic idea of what you would like your website’s design to be. At Social Eyes Marketing we offer our web design services in Boise that best reflect both our client’s style and the local environment of the business.

Why You Need a Website

No matter how small your business is, you need a website for these exact reasons:

  1. Build Brand Awareness
  2. Get Customers
  3. Share Information
  4. Differentiate From Competitors

1. Build Brand Awareness

Small businesses don’t always have the means to launch a national branding campaign like a lot of chain businesses can. However, by just having a website you are opening the door for more customers without physically doing so. Your customers will be able to more readily associate the products you have to offer with your company’s name. Your website builds brand awareness while you kick back and relax because they can search for your companies name and easily find out all the information they need.

2. Get Customers

Over a billion people use Google Maps. If your business isn’t popping up in Google Maps, then I will not be your customer. Google has made it more intuitive for businesses to set up their profiles in Google My Business.

This makes it so that when your potential client is hungry and they search for a keyword like “Chinese,” your Chinese restaurant will hopefully pop up as a suggested place to eat at. Boom, easy potential customer grab.

3. Share Information

Before someone gets in their car they are usually wanting to know if you are open in the first place. If your web design is intuitive and mobile-friendly then people are able to see your hours and any other sort of information you want to show more readily and quickly.
More and more people are wanting to find information conveniently and at no expense to them. This means less time, less gas, and fewer headaches from crawling google for your business information.

4. Differentiate From Competitors

By having differences in colors, logos, and content, your business is “not just another (blank) company.” Your website shows what is unique to your business’s services, values, and ideals.

Our clients receive web design and development in Boise and beyond, unique to each and every business we serve to ensure that not only is the business owner’s style incorporated, but also what is on-trend and up-to-date is being accounted for.
